This patient in her late teens came to discuss reconstruction of her columella. She had required oxygen for several months after she was born. Unfortunately, the cannula was too tight and it caused destruction of the structure of her columella. The laceration on her eyebrow was unrelated and was repaired by another provider.
We took cartilage from her septum to reconstruct her medial crura and support her tip structures. We then advanced skin from her philtrum to rebuild her columella. Her post operative photos were taken three years after her operation.
